On 4th September 2010 we performed at the lovely Warwickshire Golf & Country Club for Elizabeth and Richard and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Having performed at Warwickshire Country Club before, it is a venue that we are now very familiar with and a venue that we always look forward to performing at. We always find the staff to be professional and friendly, the food is of a very high standard and the main event suite is really lovely with spectacular views over the golf course and lake.
Adam was kindly asked by Elizabeth and Richard if he could perform one of the most requested first dance's of the year, Fyfe Dangerfield's rendition of Billy Joel's classic, 'She's Always A Woman.'**Adam will be recording a version of this track very soon!**

For their Wedding Entertainment the new Mr and Mrs Barker booked Adam to perform his Swing & Soul Solo Showand also chose to include our Wedding Disco too.
Adam performed all of his usual crowd pleasing favourites including 'Haven't Met You Yet,' 'Save The Last Dance,' 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' and Michael Buble's 'Everything' as the bride and groom's second dance with the remainder of the wedding party. Swing and Big Band first half over - phew!
Act Two got the party into full swing as Adam kept them all going with a blend of Soul, Indie and Pop tracks such as 'My Girl,' 'This Love,' 'Mercy' and 'I Kissed A Girl.' As we've said before, Adam's renditions of Paolo Nutini's 'Pencil Full Of Lead' and '10/10' have really proven to be massive hits with all of his audiences this summer: they fill the dance floor every time!
On 27th August 2010 we performed at the truly stunning and incredibly unique Norwood Park Hotel in Southwell, Nottingham for Danielle and Stephen Riggott... and what a lovely day we all had too.
Danielle and Stephen first heard about Adam after a recommendation from the lovely Paul at Spirits High Disco's (if you need a professional, reliable disco for your event then Paul is the man! He also happens to be thoroughly nice guy too!) and, after browsing the Adam Thomas website, that was enough for them to know that they wanted Adam and his 8 piece Swing & Soul Band to be a part of their big day!
The Day Itself
After arriving at the venue we realised that Danielle and Stephen had thought through every single meticulous detail and everything looked stunning: from the flowers to the cake, the dress to the venue itself.
Norwood Park is one of the best wedding venues in the Midlands and would make any wedding or special event stand out from the crowd simply because of it's stunning location, the truly unique courtyard and contemporary style mixed with traditional architecture. (If you haven't guessed already, we likey this venue!!)
The food is stupendous, the staff are friendly yet super efficient and professional and the all-round feel of the place is what a wedding venue should be... magical!
Norwood Park is a part of Maverick Venues and if you are still undecided as to who you would like to host your wedding or special occasion, then I urge you to take a good look around their stunning collection of venues as they may just have the venue of your dreams! Norwood Park and Sutton Bonnington are our personal favourites! :)

Adam was asked by Danielle and Stephen if he could sing Stevie Wonder's 'You And I' for their First Dance and Adam was only too happy to accept. This particular track has truly wonderful lyrics and is the perfect first dance song for those couples still undecided and in need of something that really says something special.

Carrie and Martin first saw Adam Thomas perform live at the Hilton, Leicester Wedding Fair and, seemingly, that was enough for them to know that they wanted Adam to be a part of their big day!

Shearsby Bath is a really lovely wedding venue with great food and truly attentive, dedicated staff. However, it is their wonderful Fountain Marquee that really sets this place off, catering for events of 100 to 250 people most weekends of the year!

Adam was asked by Carrie and Martin if he could sing Michael Buble's 'Everything' for their First Dance and Adam was only too happy to accept. This song has undoubtedly been the most requested first dance of the past two years and rightly so in our opinion! It has a lovely feel with sweet lyrics and is at a great pace - not too slow for you awkward grooms!!

On Friday 20th August 2010 we performed at the lovely Bestwood Lodge in Nottingham for Jodie and Ashley Burton and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
The Big Day
Having performed at Bestwood Lodge in August 2009, it is a venue that we are now very familiar with and a venue that we always look forward to performing at. We always find the staff to be professional yet friendly, the food is of a very good standard and the variety of suites offer a great canvas on which you can add your own style to.
Adam was kindly asked by Jodie and Ashley if he could perform Lonestar's lovely ballad, 'Amazed' as their first dance. It is probably the most popular wedding first dance song that Adam gets asked to perform yet it never seems to lose it's sentiment and is still as magical today as it was in 1999 on first release. Alice and Sam first saw Adam Thomas perform live before the catwalk show at the Sketchley Grange Wedding Fair in October 2009 and, seemingly, that was enough for them to know that they wanted Adam to be a part of their big day.

Adam was asked by Alice and Sam if he could learn and perform their first dance live and, as it was to Dean Martin's truly wonderful 'You Belong To Me', how could he say no! (BTW, this is one of the best first dance songs we have heard. Good old fashioned romance for once!)
