Stapleford Park Wedding Fair

Stapleford Park really is one of the most prestigious wedding venues in the Midlands

There's nothing to say that a posh venue has to be stuffy or snooty... Even the snobs of the world want to have fun you know ;)

Stapleford Park is one of the most prestigious wedding venue in the Midlands and has hosted some of the world's biggest names of stage, screen and sports. Michael Carrick and Peter Crouch have both married their sweethearts at Stapleford and guests of honour at different events have included Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and Bruno Mars! And now Adam Thomas!! :)

Sarah Smith and her lovely team invited Adam Thomas and the Souljers to rock their Orangery last Sunday afternoon for the annual Stapleford Park wedding fair... And rock it we did! :)

This is Adam's attempt at being clever with his new 360 Panorama app!

Basking in glorious sunshine (at the beginning of March no less), Stapleford Park looked stunning last Sunday afternoon and brides flocked from miles around to see exactly what this prestigious wedding venue could offer for their big day.

I think Adam may be going a bit too mad with this Panorama app!

The team there (consisting of yet another 2 Sarah's!) did a great job and there was a steady flow of couples enjoying Adam's take on some of the Swing classics and upbeat Soul music in the Orangery throughout the entire afternoon: we even had a few join us for a boogie, take pictures and film us on their phones :)

We had lots of lovely enquiries and exciting chats and, judging by the feedback that we had on the day, we hope to continue to be regular performers for Stapleford Park's weddings and events in the future! :)

Walton Hall Wedding Fair... in the rain!

No matter what the weather, Walton Hall always looks stunning!

We have only ever seen Walton Hall in glorious sunshine... Regardless of the season, this beautiful building and its grounds have always been showered with the sun's rays every time we've visited. Well, until their wedding fair on March 4th this year that is!

The New Mr and Mrs Helium had a great day!

As we drove along the miles and miles of driveway, the rain poured down and you couldn't see a singular patch of clear sky... Not exactly the perfect weather to visit a wedding fayre but that didn't stop the hordes of brides that had made plans to visit Walton Hall that day!

Adam & The Souljers were ready to rock the joint!

The proof of the pudding seemed to be that this majestic building close to Stratford looked so impressive and imposing in horrendous weather that future brides could be assured that, no matter what the forecast is for their big day, Walton Hall will wow their guests!

The excellent team at the Barcelo Walton Hall had worked very hard to ensure that their wedding fayre went as smoothly as can be: lots of staff on hand to help with every enquiry, a full range of quality exhibitors and a fabulous catwalk show which should be the envy of all others. Adam Thomas took to the catwalk with his bouncing Souljers and shook Walton Hall on that cold, rainy afternoon! With a bit of Paolo Nutini to wake everyone up, the hall was soon warmed up and bopping along!

The Souljer Van.. Yes it's green but it's Harrod's Green!

With lots of lovely enquiries under our belt and having had a lovely chat with the team, we pulled off along the long, long drive and guess what? The sun came out :)

--------------------------------------------------------------

Barcelo Walton Hall is a truly lovely wedding venue for anyone looking to get married in the Warwickshire area and we couldn't think of a better team of people to look after you on your big day. We have been a recommended entertainment supplier at Walton Hall for a few years now and every time we perform there we see that their standards never drop... so well done to all of the team at Walton Hall!

Kelham Hall Wedding Fair... and one of the Souljers becomes a model for a day!

Last Sunday we performed live at a very busy Kelham Hall for the White Media wedding fair to a lovely bunch of couples and their families.

We performed a diverse mix of songs and had loads of enquiries and loads of fun too!

But one of the Souljers had more fun to come!!

One of the male models for the catwalk show hadn't turned up and they were one guy short... enter one tall guy, Tom Francis!

It was his first time as a world renowned male model and he did a great job it must be said. But then what did we expect, modelling is just posing and strutting and they just happen to be Tom's specialities!

We're at the wonderful Walton Hall next week so if you're around come and say hi. If not then you can find us at many other exciting wedding fairs in the East Midlands this season.

A Lovely Day at the Barcelo Billesley Manor Wedding Fair

Here are a few shots taken from the Billesley Manor wedding fair last Sunday where we all had a great time with loads of future brides in attendance and a huge amount of enquiries for Adam Thomas and The Souljers (that's us!)

We performed our usual set of foot tappin', sing-a-long tunes starting off with Michael Buble's 'Everything' then grooving into 'My Girl', 'Why Do Fools Fall In Love', 'Paolo Nutini's 'Pencil Full Of Lead' and rounding the performance of with The Four Tops 'Same Old Song.' Phew, and that was only 13 minutes before the catwalk show!!

Thanks to Naomi and her team at Billesley Manor for having us and the wonderful audience who really made it a great show. You know who you are ladies! :)

A Vintage Affair at Ansty Hall...

Although we are regulars in the Orangery at Ansty Hall Hotel in Coventry (as you will now if you read last Friday's blog!), we have never seen it decked out quite as it was last night...

Gorgeous vintage table settings

We were greeted by a thoroughly vintage scene: from lace bunting and chair bows to a retro suitcase featuring a "Just Married" sign. Candles, hand-tied bouquets and chic little cups and saucers... The Orangery looked stunning.

The couple had thought about so many little touches

The bride and groom looked equally amazing with Sarah modelling a vintage ivory lace gown (in keeping with her theme of course) and Gary wearing a particularly dapper and dashing pinstripe suit with waistcoat (I think Adam had his eye on this... He's one for a nice suit himself you know!)

Check out Mr Suave!

The newlyweds had decided to have their speeches at the beginning of their evening reception and so, once the groom and best man had said their bits and the ’thank yous’ had been done, the happy couple cut their wedding cake and took to the floor for their first dance: At Last by Etta James

A beautiful first dance to Etta James

Their bridal party and guests joined them on the dancefloor for Adam's first live set of swing, Michael Bublé and Rat Pack classics...

Act 1: Swing, Rat Pack and Buble

and the new Mrs Chamberlain even led the New York, New York kick line with her female guests in tow!

The bride and her 'girls' on the dancefloor

As you can see, Adam's not one to be out done though!!

Adam's kicks are getting higher and higher!

After the guests had tucked into a well-earned buffet, they regrouped on the dancefloor for Act 2! This time Adam was joined on stage by his Souljers and the audience lapped up the mix of soul, Motown and pop music... Most even joining in with the choreography too! Can you spot the groom in this quick clip? ;)

Before I forget, you can pop over to our Facebook Fan page for even more pictures of their big day too (and don't forget to press 'like' whilst you're there!)

get yourself over to Adam on Facebook!!Our Facebook Fan Page (where all of the action happens!)

After the beautiful bride had danced her last dances, after Adam had finally had a cuddle from their little girl and after the exceptionally lovely groom had gushed about the show and showered us with wonderful compliments (he was so sweet!), Sarah and Gary left among lots of smiling guests with signed photoframes in hand and a beautiful 10 month old baby girl in their arms... What a lucky couple! We wish you all the luck in the world guys and many happy years together :) x x x

Another one of the lovely retro pieces that they used
